    Hello, I am Dr. Helen Kennedy. I received my Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine, with honors, from Oregon State University in 2008. I grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana, where I began volunteering at veterinary hospitals at the age of 12. I then ventured to the Northwest for college and received a B.S. in Biology from Portland State University. I worked as a veterinary assistant/technician for 10 years before relocating to Corvallis to study veterinary medicine.
